2. Advantages of peristaltic pump
Based on the principle of the first point, the peristaltic pump has many advantages. It has good sealing performance and will not contact the outside world in the entire transmission path, ensuring the cleanliness of the liquid.
It has an excellent performance in the transmission of liquids that are sensitive to shear force, and the transmission is relatively stable. In addition, maintenance of the peristaltic pump is also simple, usually as long as the peristaltic pump hose is replaced regularly.
3. Disadvantages of peristaltic pump
Compared with plunger pumps and syringe pumps, peristaltic pumps are not very accurate. If the extremely high-precision fluid transfer is required, the former two are more suitable.
Based on the operating principle of the peristaltic pump, the pressure of the peristaltic pump is not high, and the peristaltic pump cannot meet the liquid transmission requirements that require high pressure (above 1MPa).
