The characteristics of peristaltic pumps, we have talked about the relatively intuitive discharge end pulse problem of peristaltic pumps. The pulse of the discharged liquid is easy to see and find, but the pulse at the inlet end is not so obvious.
The pulse at the discharge end is caused by the suction of the peristaltic pump hose when the pump tube is removed. What is the pulse at the inlet end, and what is the performance?
The perspiration liquid of the peristaltic pump is caused by the rebound of the pump tube during the forward movement of the pump tube, and the negative pressure of the pump tube of this peristaltic pump is very strong, so the negative pressure can generate a maximum vacuum of 95%.
The generation of the inlet pulse: as the pressure roller of the peristaltic pumps rotates, the pressure roller at the inlet end contacts the pump tube to the flattening pump tube. This process liquid moves forward with the previous pumping wheel, but this is just touching the hose. During the period when the pressure roller has not completely flattened the inlet end pump tube, the volume of the inlet end pump tube will become smaller. This smaller volume will cause the flow rate of the inlet end to enter the pump to decrease. When the pressure roller is flattened, Will continue to move forward, this amount of liquid will increase.

Consequences of the inlet pulse: The pulse generated by the inlet of the peristaltic pump consumes a portion of the system pressure in addition to the loss to the pump tube, but since the liquid at the inlet end flows toward the outlet, the overall pressure loss is much smaller than the outlet because The reverse flow will be offset by the suction flow. Usually we do not consider the pulse problem at the inlet end in the system design.
We talked about the entrance and exit pulses of the peristaltic pumps. So where do you need to pay special attention to the pulses and use the pulse resistors to reduce the pulses?
1. The pipeline cannot be subjected to pulse impact
2. The pulse cannot be accepted during the process.
3. The system clearly indicates that there should be no pulsation
